AS91262 covers differentiation and anti-differentiation and what they are for: gradients and tangents, where a function increases or decreases, stationary points, optimisation, rates of change and kinematics. Most of the difficulty in the harder questions is building the function from the situation, not the calculus itself.

Assessed by external examination at the end of the year.
